Getting Healthy Can Be Like a Full Time Job

When I started this journey, I had no idea how much time and effort would be needed to make changes and get started. The beginning of my weight loss journey started in April of 2015. I weighed way more than I ever thought I would, and it was absolutely awful. I did not know what I was doing wrong. Well, after some encouragement, and the help of a very smart dietitian, I was able to start making changes in my life.

Basically, the first thing I had to do was eat more. I had to start eating smaller portions of healthy food every two hours. This way of eating also came with my running. I try to run as much as I can during the week, even if I do not have any motivation to do so.

What My Typical Day Looks Like!

I will never consider what I am doing to be a diet because it is so much more than that. What I am doing now is my way of life. It consumes a very large portion of all of my days, but it’s never a struggle. I just make sure that I can incorporate everything I need to do into my day. Keeping a journal can also help you if you think that you can’t stay on track. Some things I like to do to help me with my week is meal prepping.

Meal Prepping!

It may seem hard at first, but everything that I have done has been worth it. Between going to school and working, I make time to do what I need to do to better myself. It can become routine, but as long as you mix things up, it will never seem like a chore. I know for a fact that it is worth it because I have personally seen the results. I have lost a total of 85 pounds in just a year’s time.

Everyone Can Do It! Just Make Time!

Not only am I proud of what I have done, I know for a fact that it can be done. It will take time and effort, but if you give it your all, you can do just about anything. I should know, I have seen it!
